Chris Simpson & Associates, founded in 2009, is a boutique retained Executive Search Firm specializing in Human Resources and Senior Infrastructure positions across multiple industries.

Prior to entering the Executive Search World, Chris had a 30 year career as a senior Human Resources professional at Citi and Goldman Sachs.  Recruiting has always been Chris’ passion. At Citi and Goldman Sachs she was responsible for hiring literally thousands of candidates at all levels across a wide spectrum of roles and responsibilities. Her many, long-term relationships offer clients a distinct advantage as does her proven track record of excellent judgment in assessing, hiring, developing and retaining top talent.

At Citi, Chris was a Managing Director and Head of Global Banking Human Resources.  She originally joined Salomon Brothers where she held a number of positions in Administration and Human Resources in Investment Banking, including Head of Recruiting, Training and Staffing. Chris ultimately became Deputy CAO and Head of Human Resources.  She was a member of the Citi Markets and Banking HR Operating Committee, Global Banking Executive Committee and Global Banking Operating Committee.  She also served on the Citi 401K Plan Committee.

At Goldman Sachs, Chris was Managing Director and Global Head of Human Resources for Investment Banking.  While at Goldman Sachs, she served in a number of senior HR and Administrative roles.  Chris was a member of the team that restructured HR for the Firm creating a new highly effective Human Capital Management Division.  She was also a member of the HR Operating Committee.
